Southampton. We can clean up to 200,000 litres a day through our multi-stage filtration rigs.
WHAT IS FUEL RECOVERY
Fuel recovery goes one step further than fuel polishing in that it not only cleanses the fuel but replaces any lost combustion and
lubricating properties the fuel may have lost. This is carried out by first cleaning the fuel and then analysing the fuel for lost
properties. A bespoke additive package is then created to ensure the fuel is recovered. Our additive packages include the following:
Required to help the engineer start the combustion process
To help modern high-pressure engines pumps
To help prevent microbial growth from returning and keep the fuel stable
Helps prevent tank rusting
Lowers the freezing point of fuel help prevent freezing in winter conditions
Fuel contamination is a term used for fuel when it becomes mixed with water, microbial growth and other sediments that gather at the bottom of a fuel tank. These types
of contamination will significantly damage the equipment it supplies if they make it through to the combustion process. We offer a comprehensive fuel contamination service that will tackle at every level.
IMPORTANT FUEL REGULATION NEWS! From April 1st 2022 many industries will not be able to use Red Diesel and will need to use alternative fuels such as HVOor GTL, see
for more information on to transition.
Standard Red Diesel and Road Diesel currently must comply to BS2869 and EN590 standards respectively. These standards determine the quality of the fuel and specifically what specification they must meet to be used in each application.
