Following regulation changes in 2011, bio content in fuel has been increased. This in turn dramatically increases the risk of contamination by emulsified water and microbial growth. The standard shelf life of unattended fuel is now 6 – 8 months which means that a robust fuel management plan must be in place to protect fuel stocks. SDM can provide high quality fuel management plans including regular sampling/testing, fuel/tank cleaning and installation of proven filtration systems
